Music I listen to

Disturbed, embarrassing 80's music, classical, more classical, Choral, Medieval Babes, Metallica old school, Swing and more classical.

Yes I am eclectic.

People I look up to

My mother and grandmother and my batty daughter, in fact all the females in my family. My best friend Jane.

Mary Seacole, Rabbi Louis Jacobs, Rosa Parks, The Bronte Sisters, Queen Victoria, Nelson Mandela, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, Mary Shelley, Mary Wollstonecraft, Jane Austen, Alexander Pope, George Fridrick Handel and Mozart for being one insane but talented Aquarian!!

Books that moved me

Wuthering Heights, Giorgiana, Duchess of Devonshire (not fiction but her story was something else) Little House books, Little Women, All of Jane Austen's writings except MF being Fanny Price is such a sap. Moll Flanders, The Color Purple, The Picture of Dorian Grey. I can't think of much else that has actually 'moved' me even though I have read lots of books. I actually enjoyed HP as well, looking forward to watching what they do with them onscreen now.

Movies I like

Dangerous Liaisons
Doctor Zhivago
The Witches of Eastwick
Tropic Thunder
Blithe Spirit
Wuthering Heights (Ralph Feinnes version)
Dracula (any version)
Interview with a Vampire (visually stunning even though nothing compared to the book)

TV shows I watch

All Period Adaptations, Being Human, Big Love (of course) Mad Men, The Sarah Connor Chronicals and the late, lamented bastions of female empowerment on the small screen, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Xena and even Angel I suppose....

Just a note to say HI! My wife and I took a while to consider and talk over things, get over many tears and fears and finally decide to do it - but it would be interesting to know what made you start thinking about poly

I love your #12, I can totally relate. I am 5'9" and often times am 6'2" with my heels. My husband is 5'6", it's quite the sight, bless his heart. :)

Just read your post re: Womans/woman I really feel that I am a mans type of Woman --I am so much more comfortable with men in general than I am with women it is unreal. It is not a sexual thing either it is the way I view things I tend to see things in a big and white sort of way ---all of the fru-fru women do! yuck! gets on my last nerve. Now don't get me wrong I wear period clothing dresses hats heels lots of lace and my hair (red) hangs to my shoulders in waves. However a man walking up to ask that something be tended to they will always tell me---However women do the same men call it having a presence women call it competence -
